Each time I‘ve gone I’ve been helped by a guy named Matthew. He always seems agitated when helping me and never smiles. I can overlook that but what infuriates me is that I often try to return items in the Amazon box they were delivered in. He takes the items out of the box, places them on the counter and then throws the box I put the items in on the floor in front of me like I’m supposed to fetch them and pick them up. A simple hey, sir. I’m going to put your items in a new box. Can you take these boxes with you? Today he started mumbling something underneath his breath because he didn’t like the boxes. I tried to remain calm but he needs a serious lesson in customer service etiquette. I plan to call the store tomorrow.

He was very condescending when talking to me, very rude when trying to help me look for an item. Also I know people might have issues at home that might be difficult to help odor but it was very pungent and irritating my nose. I’ve had multiple encounters with Corey and he’s always smelled the same. I hope in the near future, Staples takes their employees hygiene into consideration.
