After receiving mail at my same address for 32 years, I suddenly stopped receiving mail. Then today after no mail for 2 weeks I received 2 letters with yellow stickers saying unable to forward. I've tried for 3 hours to get through but no answer.

2020-2022, the use of my PO Box as an online shipping and delivery address has been an issue for this location. Many online vendors will not ship to PO boxes, so using the street address of the UPSP facility with: unit # has worked well for over a year, as FedEX, UPS and other delivery services WILL deliver to the post office (regularly) and packages will be held for pick up. I was told NOT to use the USPS street address now, and my home- street address- which is NOT SECURE for deliveries - and just put #(and my POB number). This caused a cancellation of an order because UPS refused to deliver to a rural, open area with no mail box( obviously not a delivery site). After waiting two weeks for this delivery and changing the delivery address -as requested- during the shipping process, Amazon cancelled my order as: "UN-DELIVERABLE". After 20 years of renting my PO box, this ( SUPER TINY) location has caused me (some HUGE) delivery hassles over the past years, enough to comment finally. It's clear they can handle SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS ONLY, with no alternative delivery assistance to P O box rental customers. TWICE my mail has been opened, envelopes resealed ( a Federal offense FYI) and no way to find further information. Albeit, happening twice to my POB number is probably high by percentage, and seems "OFF" in the trustworthy range. Location has lost my trust and confidence now; I go to Rockingham,NC USPS instead. Who knows. It's my guess however that delivering obviously tampered-with mail without a soul ( Greensboro, Fayetteville, Southern Pines) noticing or commenting, before reaching this final delivery destination,(one would hope) to be unlikely and concerning. In one incident, the envelope looking like a greeting card, could have assumed to have a check enclosed was in fact a condolence card from my vet for my dog who died, having a separate paper insert in the card; was opened and (sloppy job) re-sealed. The other was a holiday card with a flash drive (our family photos). The envelope had a perfect, raised imprint of the shape of the little flash drive, the red of the inside paper bleeding through to outline the shape on the white, outside envelope; the paper was raised, bent- embossed from the shape where the drive had been. The gold- foil sun sticker covering the point-flap of the envelope had many curled edges from being steamed off and attempted to reattach and not sticking. Clear tape had been put on a part of the flap to close it again. When shown to the post master there, I was told that ( the person" "Would bet her life on the honesty of the workers there") and despite no accusations on my part, or insinuations by me of tampering by the local staff; just a question of: what to do next?, nothing was ever mentioned, nor comment, or complaint filed ( by this location) on my behalf. Done, not forgotten as opening of my mail is still going on.. This location is UNIMPRESSIVE in basic mail handling, and UNDERWHELMS in delivery capability, lacking to provide assistance and alternate delivery solutions for postal box renters. February, 2022
