$65 to mail one envelope. Are you kidding me? My father went to the Clinton, NC Post Office yesterday to send a simple envelope to me in Tunisia. Inside: my driver’s license and a tiny Apple AirTag. That’s it. They charged him $65. Meanwhile, the Raleigh Post Office sent me the exact same kind of envelope for $4.50 just a few weeks ago. It arrived in 6 days, no drama, no “security tag” excuses. The Clinton clerk insisted the AirTag made it cost more because it’s a “security tag.” That’s absurd. AirTags are literally made to travel with letters, luggage, and boxes. Every airline in the world knows that — apparently, this post office didn’t get the memo. This kind of overcharging and misinformation is what drives people away from USPS. It’s unfair, it’s dishonest, and it’s an insult to customers just trying to mail their own property. I want a full investigation and refund. Until then, we’ll drive an hour to Raleigh where honesty still costs less than $65.00.

They are the absolute worst delivery service in town bar none. So sad they are the ones representing our country. Out of shear laziness they REFUSE to deliver anything if they can't just stick it in the mailbox. My house is down a gravel road (a good one not full of holes) and because they have the cop out they choose to take it EVERY TIME. If I am receiving a package and I see it's coming from USPS I know I have to add at least 2 extra days to the delivery time and ultimately I'm just going to have to get it from the post office. Just sad. No accountability when I mention that I'm annoyed when I have to pick up something the people in the office are always rude and retaliatory making me wait longer ect.

I have had ongoing issues with this location. Several pieces of mail that have confirmed delivery to my P.O. Box have not made it into my P.O. Box. I have updated to informed delivery to keep an eye on this issue. I have to route parcel packages to the post office for packages that cannot be sent to a P.O. Box and because the post office refuses to deliver packages to our home. After filing a complaint with USPS to address the issue, the post office agreed to start coming out to our home to deliver parcel mail. We have them on our outside cameras speeding down our road. Fast forward three weeks, we began not receiving any mail and we had to file another complaint. The post office has no idea what is going on and refuses to deliver mail to our physical address, stating the road is a safety issue and they are waiting for public safety to come out and check the safety of the road. They have been saying this for over a month now. This is a change from a few weeks ago when they agreed to deliver packages to our home. We have had to put a hold on all mail to our physical address and sign up for informed delivery because we haven’t received mail in over three weeks. After placing mail on hold at our physical address, first class mail starts showing up at our physical address again. We called the post office to check to make sure they received our hold and let them know we are suddenly receiving first class mail at our home even after we placed a hold on our mail. The lady on the phone got snippy and explained that it could take a little bit before they receive the hold. I asked her if she could check on the hold and come to find out the post office has received the hold. We had to place a hold on our mail and sign up for informed delivery because we needed to figure out where our mail was and we were trying to determine if whether it’s an issue with delivery or someone is stealing mail. It seems as though someone is stealing mail at our physical address and someone at the post office is stealing mail even after informed delivery and fedex and ups confirms delivery for mail we have delivered to the post office. It’s frustrating when you have no option but to have all mail sent to the post office and your local office doesn’t even want to retrieve packages from the back when you come in to pick them up. I’m damned if I don’t have mail sent to the post office and I’m damned if I do. Something needs to be done about this. I am not the only individual in my neighborhood that receives mail. And the lack of service and customer service is unacceptable to the citizens of Clinton and Sampson County. Please do better. And please explain where our mail is going when it’s sent to the post office and it’s been confirmed delivered yet you have no clue about its whereabouts. Make it make sense please.

I ordered several items online and was shipped through this office, I waited at the shipping address beginning at 7:30am but received an email staiting no one was there at 8:47am and they were unable to leave packages. I live at the end of a trailer home park and absolutely no body attempted to come down the road to the home. I then attempted to call customer service to ask why the carrier did not even attempt to bring me my packages and was stuck on hold for more then 40 minutes. Wonderful customer service 😡

This place is a damn joke, they won't ever do there job and deliver your package, then when you call out there they get an attitude with you when you try and understand why these people won't do there job.
