  I rarely leave reviews, but what happened to my 70-year-old mother needs to be shared so others don’t go through the same experience. This company sold her a cabinet resurfacing job for $28,000—only for the fronts of cabinets that were originally installed in 1995. Any honest professional should have recognized that cabinets of that age often need to be fully replaced, not cosmetically updated at an extremely high cost. Instead, they moved forward with a sale that clearly was not in her best interest. What’s even more concerning is how the situation was handled afterward. My mother, who is widowed and elderly, tried to cancel within the legal three-day window. She mistakenly called the salesperson instead of customer service, and instead of directing her appropriately or honoring her right to cancel, he told her that materials had already been ordered within 30 minutes of leaving her home. He then claimed she would lose her deposit and be charged $3,000. This feels incredibly misleading and predatory. Taking advantage of someone’s age, lack of experience in home renovations, and recent widowhood is unacceptable. There was a clear opportunity here to act with integrity, and that opportunity was not taken. I strongly urge others—especially seniors and their families—to be extremely concerned cautious. Get multiple opinions, never feel pressured to sign on the spot, and make sure you fully understand your cancellation rights before agreeing to anything. We are deeply disappointed and hope this company reevaluates how they treat vulnerable customers.

  I am extremely disappointed with the conduct of this company and their affiliated business, Statewide Remodeling which is a sister company of Renuity. Despite repeated requests to remove my number from their call list, I continue to receive daily, unwanted calls. This is not just aggressive marketing, it feels like outright harassment. Being contacted over and over again after clearly asking to be removed is completely unacceptable. Their sales approach is very pushy and intrusive. If this is how they treat someone who is not even a customer, I would seriously question how they handle actual clients. I strongly advise others to avoid sharing your contact information with this company or any affiliated businesses. Once they have your details, it seems very difficult to get them to stop contacting you. This experience has been frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish.

  Garbage. Tried to install different tile. Then couldn't get right tile in. Busted tiles and still waiting for replacements. Third time to do work makes conflicts. Now months away from their two day estimate.

  When my shower project was done, a mistake was apparent. Renuity accepted responsibility and agreed to correct it. I was told it would take a few weeks to authorize payment and was told to pay for the repair if I wanted it done quickly. It is now 6 weeks since they were notified of the repair cost; I have made many calls but have been told repeatedly that payment was approved but delayed. I would think that a company who earned a significant contract would be very interested in correcting the error made by their employees. I am happy with the product but would caution anyone working with Renuity to carefully monitor the installation every step of the way and question anything that doesn’t seem right before allowing the project to continue.
