Formal Complaint Regarding Mishandled Certified Mail and Lack of Accountability To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable handling of my certified mail and the complete lack of follow-through by USPS staff. On November 13, 2025, I mailed a certified letter to a destination in North Carolina approximately three hours from my location. By November 19, the tracking showed no progress, so I contacted customer service. I was informed that my certified mail had been sitting in a Charlotte warehouse for several days. I was also told—incorrectly—that a supervisor would contact me within two business days. It is now December 5, and I have not received a single callback. On December 4, I went to my local post office in person. The postal worker informed me that my certified letter had been sent to the destination three separate times and returned each time, without any explanation. As of today, the item still has not been delivered. This repeated mishandling, combined with misinformation and unfulfilled promises, is unacceptable. The lack of professionalism and accountability has caused significant delays and potential consequences for time-sensitive information contained in my letter. I am demanding the following: • A full investigation into why my certified mail was mishandled multiple times. • A written explanation for the repeated failed delivery attempts and the inaccurate information I received. • Immediate corrective action to ensure my certified letter is delivered without further delay. • Appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, disruption, and potential impact caused by this negligence. • Accountability for staff responsible for the misleading information and failure to follow through. I expect a prompt response and resolution. This matter has already been delayed far beyond reasonable limits, and I will escalate the issue to higher USPS authorities if necessary. Thank you for your immediate attention to this serious matter.

Shocker…another one star review. Today I went into this location and prepared my package to be shipped. After the worker put the shipping sticker on, I asked to take a picture of the box for a program I’m in that requires photo verification of the shipping label. The worker tells me, “no”. I explain the situation and that I’ve done this process multiple times before at other local post offices and she still says “no, do you want to speak to my manager?” I say yes and she yells, “Veronica, this woman wants to speak to you.” Without coming out to speak to me…the “manager” yells, “No she doesn’t”. They had a back and forth about why I can’t take a picture in a federal building (not asking for a picture of the room…just my box). Another man comes out and just tells me to take a picture and move on. This was a level of rudeness and lack of customer service that I haven’t experienced in a long while. Next time….ill go out of my way to drive all the way to Harrisburg where the people are actually somewhat pleasant instead of the stereotypical federal employees that people experience as lazy and rude.

Every time I use this post office to mail cards to someone they never get them. I think someone is stealing them that works for the postal service at this location.
