- MSMike SchmidtNov 17, 20251.0I used to drive out of my way to visit this particular FedEx location, since it seemed to give better service than the Dilworth or University locations. However, today I had such a bad experience that I ended up leaving and taking my business to the UPS store nearby on Fairview. They ripped me off selling me a small box marked $8 for $12, saying it was only available for sale together with "security wrapping"; then, a different quite rude young man said I couldn't ship the guitar pickups in that box - only a smartphone. When an assistant manager began to help me, he walked by and whispered to her, loud enough for me to hear: "don't ship that!" She unpacked my box, asked me questions and repacked it haphazardly; finally, the least expensive shipping option was cost-prohibitive. I took my package and left. I went to the nearby UPS store and got excellent service, shipping via USPS for a lower rate. I do NOT plan to ship via FedEx again.

I emailed the store and I asked for a certain size and I think he looked like annoyed for no reason, he said the email will take 10 minutes till he receive it which is I don’t think this is true cause this is not my first time printing at FedEx locations. I asked for 5 x 5” and it cost me two dollars as I am printing big letter size then he asked me if I want to trim and then he charged me another two dollars to trim my papers without telling me that it will cost me money. So I ended up printing for 4 copies of 5 x 5” on a regular people with trim cost that I wasn’t aware of and ended up paying $15 to get those printed. Very unpleasant service and charging me the trim of the paper without letting me know that it will cost.
