I have never been more frustrated or stressed with a staffing agency than I have been with Adecco. I went through two interviews they set up for me one onsite and one virtual and the experience has been extremely disorganized and stressful from start to finish. For the onsite interview, I had to wait 40 minutes before it even began. This was not only inconvenient but also made me feel undervalued and unsure if my time and effort even mattered to anyone at Adecco.
After both interviews, I expected Adecco to follow up and communicate with me about the hiring decision. Instead, I was left in the dark. For the virtual interview, the client told me they wanted to hire me and only needed to confirm with someone else. I waited patiently, but weeks passed with no updates, no emails, and no calls. I repeatedly reached out to Adecco, speaking with a representative named Angie, who would tell me they were still trying to get a decision. Yet, despite these assurances, I still have not heard anything.
This lack of communication has caused me significant stress, anxiety, and uncertainty, especially since I am urgently looking for work. I have spent countless hours worrying, following up, and trying to get clarity on my employment status. Every day of silence from Adecco has left me feeling ignored, frustrated, and powerless, especially after being told during the interview that the client wanted to hire me.
Adecco’s unprofessionalism and lack of accountability have made what should have been a hopeful and exciting opportunity into an incredibly disheartening experience. I cannot stress enough how damaging this has been not just in terms of lost time, but also emotionally and mentally. I expected a staffing agency to communicate clearly, support their candidates, and follow through, but my experience has been the opposite.
I truly hope Adecco addresses these issues because no one should have to go through the stress, confusion, and emotional toll that I’ve experienced simply trying to get a job.
