Tone and behavior: The clerk’s communication was forceful and intimidating, with repeated directive gestures. When I made a small mistake in the process, the response was not guidance or clarification. Instead, it felt like I was being scolded for not knowing the procedure. 2. Inconsistent treatment: Immediately after my transaction, a middle-aged White male customer was helped by the same clerk. The clerk’s tone and manner changed noticeably. The interaction became friendly and explanation-based. Same counter, same time, same employee. 3. Impact: I left feeling unnecessarily pressured. In a public service setting, customers should receive basic respect and consistent service standards. USPS is a public service used by everyone. When the level of courtesy appears to change depending on who the customer is, that is a serious concern. This location needs management review, staff coaching, and clear customer service standards.

However, she did scan the packages and the session took about 3 minutes, but after being ostracized for wanting a receipt, it was probably about 5 minutes. I offered to let the two other people in line go in front of me, but she refused the offer. Unfortunately, it was simply poor service and an unnecessarily negative experience.
- JPJ PDec 2, 20255.0I have witnessed countless customers try telling staff how to do their jobs. They have never lashed out. They don't kiss rings or soothe egos, but they are professional. Customers seem to wanted to be comforted by public service workers instead of trusting the staff's expertise. Oh well. Been coming here twice a week for two years, and I love it. I respect the staff, and we have built repertoire. 😊
