I was eager to meet in person and share my qualifications, which made my drive to the office all the more anticipated. I must commend the responsiveness of the team—Michael got back to me quickly, which I appreciated. However, I was taken aback by the abruptness of his reply. He informed me that my inquiry was "misdirected" because he primarily places senior-level accounting and finance professionals. While I understand that recruiters have specific areas of focus, the tone felt a bit cold and dismissive. After that interaction, I decided to pursue opportunities elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, as I had high hopes for this connection. In summary, while the initial response was prompt, the lack of warmth in communication left me feeling unvalued. I hope others have a more positive experience! Good luck.
- AFAlyssa fyfeFeb 9, 20241.0I have been out of work since 12/29/23, and I informed of this upcoming layoff on 12/5/23. It is now 2/9/24 and they have found me nothing. Not only this, but no one has reached out to me or updated me since this time. I have to stay on top of them to get any sort of response, which is always just “We don’t have anything, but we’re trying!” Specifically, my “rep” is Betty Kang. Also, I had accumulated nearly 60 hours of PTO when I lived in WA. I asked if there was anything I needed to know about moving and how that would affect my pay, benefits, etc. They said nothing. Then when I updated my address, they stripped away all 50+ hours of my accumulated PTO. Frankly, it feels illegal. But I digress. Lastly, the insurance. It is causing me a living nightmare. And I have been calling and leaving emails to get some sort of an understanding of what’s going on for MONTHS. Nothing. No call back, no response to my messages, nothing. This place is awful. Unethical and unmotivated.
