As a handicapped patron of the postal service who supports them, I do not understand how you can post no parking signs during the fall festival (on a Sunday?). It kinda tells me what your values are. You will ultimately loose your customer base if you continue this direction.

I had the pleasure of witnessing Angel, the postmaster at Cashiers Post Office, handle a challenging situation with an irate customer today, and I was truly impressed. The customer was visibly upset, raising their voice about a package, but Angel remained calm, and professional throughout the entire interaction. Angel listened attentively, acknowledging the customer’s frustration without taking it personally. They explained the situation clearly, offered practical solutions, and even went above and beyond by checking the back for an update and talking to other workers for most assistance. It’s clear Angel is dedicated to exceptional service, handling difficult situations with grace and professionalism. The Cashiers Post Office is lucky to have such a skilled and caring postmaster!

What a disservice to our community. The postmaster, Angel was overheard talking about a customer from the back of the post office. Heard her call the customer crazy with name and post office box. Totally disrespectful and she should be fired. This is the worst post office ever.

The staff is usually helpful and kind. the young gentleman who failed to even attempt to assist me today was neither. I don’t think that he even wanted to assist me. From the instant he made eye contact with me I had the strong feeling that for reasons unknown to me I was being profiled. Just a silly fleeting thought I had hoped. But, with his discourteous tone, distasteful choice of dialogue, and his unnecessary and confrontational remark about my wife and I not sharing the same last name, I am now certain that he did not treat me with the same respect as the other customers today. If I am wrong, and this is how he treats his customers, he should be fired. I am owed an apology.
