- DMDeanna MontgomeryJun 18, 20241.0It really is unfortunate the post office hasn't been allowed to go the way of all the other outdated services. They are not worth saving. The Superior, MT USPS office has accepted contracts for Amazon deliveries, however, they do not deliver the packages. They don't even attempt. They leave slips in rural mailboxes saying they tried, then demand that people come to the post office in town to pick up their packages. This, without any concern of peoples' work schedules or the fact that Amazon is a delivery service. Additionally, I have had packages thrown over my fence, left out in the weather. Their contract carriers are lazy and stupid. Their front counter staff are rude. It really is a bummer that UPS and Amazon have thrown USPS a bone by giving up some of their delivery business to this outdated federal bloat job. USPS, would it not make sense that you deliver the packages? Do your job or brush up your resumes because I don't see how your current business model is sustainable.
