They have a constant attitude of “not my problem.” I once got chewed out for going to the counter 4 minutes before their lunch break because they have a break at 12:30 and “people should know that!” We were done by 12:28. Another time, someone had shipped me a package, it made it part way across the country and got stuck in another city. The employee refused to help me in any way and kept saying the sender’s fault, despite being able to see it was hung up in their system. They close at 4:30, before most people get off work, they take an hour lunch and completely shut the whole place down from 12:30-1:00, rather than taking lunch in shifts, making it nearly impossible to get your packages without taking time off work. And when they screw up they have a habit of trying to make you feel like it’s your fault. Terrible, but they don’t care because what are you going to do about it? At a time when USPS is struggling to stay afloat, you’d think they would be bending over backwards to help people. Instead, these folks treat you like dirt and have an attitude of “not my problem.”
