Postmaster and I am complicating on taking legal action against her and the postmaster of Ennis for their rude and unprofessional behavior. They have illegally disrupted our mail and our mailboxes for my family and tenants on multiple occasions.
- JLJerushah LambJan 3, 20251.0I went to the Post Office to get my mail yesterday. Supposedly my box was closed down without a renewal slip or a notice in May. I know I have gotten mail since May from a different postal worker from this same PO box, so we are not sure what's going on. Karla told us she has sent all mail from this box back to sender. I have no problem renewing my box.. but I did not get a renewal slip. I tried to renew my box yesterday but Karla told me I had to go to Virginia City, to get a 911 verification of where I live. My parents made this same trip to Virginia City already, and verified all our family properties and addresses, ... although all addresses in Norris have discrepancy between 911, street address, and the address used for utilities. This is not on us.. this is messed up at a state and government level. I have no problem giving the required information and renewing my box. However, the Postal service, and Karla's boss Dena, according to Karla. is requiring more than the law requires, while defrauding me of my mail delivery. There is no rural mail delivery in Norris. Everyone here in this small town and surrounding areas must go through the PO Box, and the PO is required to give us a Postal Box for free since they do not provide that rural route. However, I am being denied my mail, and not being allowed to use my choice of the forms of ID specified on the Application for Post Office Box form. I want to emphasize: I have no problem providing needed legal documents. I feel lied to and defrauded of my mail and post office box. I do not know how many other people are being bullied by Karla and Dena her boss. I will also file a complaint with the postal service.
