- OKOlha KisilovaJan 30, 20261.0On January 30 at 5:15 PM, the clerk working at the counter classified my envelopes (7 x 4.5 x 0.75 inches) as packages. She insisted (very confidently) that to be rated as large envelopes, they had to be “paper things”. According to the USPS website, the maximum allowable size for large envelopes (flats) is 12 x 15 x 0.75 inches, which my envelopes clearly meet! The employee clearly needs retraining. Please have someone show her the actual USPS rules.
