He was upset that the Starbucks lobby was closed and only the drive-through was open, insisting he was on break from Staples and should not have to use a vehicle. He shouted about work ethic while behaving aggressively, then returned to Staples. I later called Staples for his name. The employee who answered immediately knew who I was referring to and handed him the phone. He refused to identify himself, stating that wearing a Staples uniform did not mean he represented the company, then hung up. This behavior was inappropriate, especially from someone in customer service. I reported the incident to Staples corporate. The Starbucks employee, who remained professional despite the situation, was short-staffed and undeserving of such treatment. This experience reflects poorly on Staples and discourages me from giving the company my business.
