- SKSharon KlintFeb 24, 20261.0I went to this location at 3:45PM Monday, 23 February 2026. There were two people behind the counter; one was helping someone with some small packages; the other was moving things in the back room in preparation for closing at 4PM. One person a head of me only wanted to drop off some envelopes; he was recognized by the clerk who was helping someone an asked what he wanted; she told him to just put the envelopes on the counter, which he did and left. The clerk working the counter then took the customer they were helping to the next window because she could not complete the transaction where she was! At 3:50, the person who was in the back was still moving bags and boxes around and not doing anything to help customers! She then came out and closed the large metal door separating the PO boxes from the service counter, still not helping serve the 3 other customers including myself who were waiting(but she was going to be ready to get out the door as soon as possible)! Finally, I got to the clerk to buy stamps; it is now after 4PM and it is VERY OBVIOUS that the two clerks were incompetent at their jobs and EXTREMELY rushed to leave! With such an abysmal experience and such unfriendly, incompetent, lazy employees, this facility should permanently close and let Albertsons the local large grocery store handle all shipping and postal matters. This city is over two-hours driving time from any other postal facility and according to governmental policies pays a decent living wage! The people who work that service counter are totally incapable of providing DECENT service! Maybe that is because Glasgow, MT does not have decent education! I spoke with several local resident friends and all of them said the post office counter employees were unhelpful, unfriendly, incompetent and generally worthless! Very pathetic and sad!
