On 9/18/25, I dropped off artwork at the UPS store in Bozeman measuring 50x50x5” (insulated/protected, but not boxed). It was to be shipped to Michigan for a one month long gallery show. I paid for a box to be constructed by UPS for shipment and presented a prepaid label with the artwork. On the label, it was clearly stated that the box would be 51x51x6” . After one week, the package was pronounced “lost” by UPS, with no tracking information available. A claim was filed for the insurance reimbursement. A few days later (10 days after drop-off) I called the Bozeman store to speak to the manager (Kyle White) and I found out they had both lost the original label and the package had never left their store. “We didn’t know whose package it was so we were waiting for someone to call us about it” Two days later it was shipped out to its original destination and it arrived on 10/7 without further incident. One month later, on November 7, after the gallery show had closed, I received my artwork back, in good condition and shipped back in the original box using a prepaid label. On November 16th I received an email stating that the box used to ship the artwork was oversized by 1” on each long side, making it 52x52x6” instead of 51x51x6” . The original cost of the return shipment was $302.99, but additional charges of $2,265.74 were being added due to the package being oversized. The manager, Kyle White, denied any responsibility for this outrageous mistake and we were told to simply “file a claim” . I find it difficult to believe that it is UPS policy to add nearly 750% in additional charges without notifying or obtaining approval from a shipper first. In hopes to rectify this situation, I have filed a claim and will be sending this note to the franchise owners, and the UPS Board of Directors.

Probably the nicest associate I’ve ever encountered. Very clear in offering multiple customer options and helpful (opening a door for someone with a bad knee). He was efficient and fast too

Not sure where he works out of, but Ty delivers to our house in Three Forks. What a nice young man! I typically do not do reviews unless I have a really good or really bad experience. Ty delivered a very large package to us today. He showed up with a big smile and positive attitude despite having to back down our long driveway and move this large package on his own. We chatted for a few minutes. He was very personable and professional. So nice to see a young man who takes pride in his job and cares about his customers.

Paid $55 for packaging service to ship a piece of artwork home. They stuffed some brown packaging paper in a box and that was what my $55 paid for. The artwork was of course damaged but thank goodness I bought the insurance! I called the store and Kyle White answered. I told him about what happened, and he gave me the information to submit a claim but could have cared less about addressing the issue of what poor service I got. Word of advice, spend the $6 on insurance. You will be glad you did.

Wish I could give this company a worse review. Drove a half hour into town so I could pay and grab my package. The store said I had to pay online, even after I told them I had tried that multiple times and also calling the company multiple times. After about 15 mins of me giving them different tracking numbers and the slip the driver left I got absolutely nowhere. I am out over $200.00 for the item I did not receive and have not gotten a single call email or message regarding the location of the package.
