What does this town need to do in order to get a better staff. Seems like everything comes in on time, and gets delayed by our postal service!!

Linda M. Is right. Since John Bellman retired the service and convenience of the Vancleave Post Office has dwindled to the lowest possible scale. We use to get packages delivered to our house if they did not fit in the mailbox. They are now saying our driveway is too long. For the last 15 years they delivered packages to our door and now all of a sudden they stop. I went in the post office to talk to them about this and there was no discussing it... they said our driveway was too long. The person's demeanor was somewhat negative to me and what I said didn't make a difference at all. I hope they get a new post office manager soon as they are not willing to help or meet me half way with my problem.

The physical office in Vancleave has not been up to par since John Bellman retired. Despite how pleasant I hope to be when i enter the door, 7 of 10 times I'm met w a condescending, rude, holier than thou attitude. More often than not the counter person is on the cell texting & scrolling...Thirty years I've used this location for convince especially due to my health. WHEN 'they' DO assist me it is made clear they DON'T want to & it's a bother to them. I try & maintain a pleasant demeanor but it's getting hard.
Grant u it's not ALL the employees....
but the front desk is seen as the impression first & foremost.
I do NOT post this lightly.
I've considered it for a couple of years, hoping 'it' would change.
With a heavy heart I do now have to.
Hope it's used for betterment of our little post office here.

my personal expierence with this place was horrible. i had a notice left on my door for a package that didn’t even require someone to be home to be dropped off. the article number was written where it was impossible to read. i call the post office and the lines were busy as always and i try the 800 number and they have me on hold for 53 minutes before the agent hangs up on me. terrible service. we are always getting mail that doesn’t belong to us and we rarely get the mail that belongs to us. this location has some work to do

Amy is great. She answered the phone after hours and saved my package from being shipped back to sender. My delivery man is awesome. Subs...can't find me and I've been there over 23 years. But thank you Amy for retrieving my package!
