Paid to have locks changed on my PO Box near my apartment a while ago. Was told it would take one day to a week at most. Past that time and nothing. When I tried to call and ask I was ignored. When I went in person to ask about it they were entirely unhelpful saying that they won't know at all if theyre coming or not. At that point just give me my money back. Awful experience all around.

Everybody here has terrible attitudes and aren’t the least bit helpful. USPS is just terrible in general.

The lock on our mailboxes no longer lock and I wouldn't have known that our/my mail was being held, had I not went to buy stamps. I'm sure most of the people in the neighborhood don't have a clue. They could have put notices in our email or on the mailbox to inform us of this.

This is honestly the worst post office I've ever seen. I went there to mail a few documents priority mail. The employee was completely disinterested in work. She has her earbuds in and was actively on her phone as I walked up and handed her my package. Didn't ask if I needed to mail it certified or anything else, just entered the address and told me to verify address on kiosk. I asked her about sending certified mail and she again told me to verify address, but this time with more attitude (I assume she didn't hear my question). I asked again, and this time (without taking out earbuds) asks me "What?" like I'm annoying her by interrupting her video. Take your damn earbuds out and you might be able to hear me.
Finally at the end of the transaction the kiosk asks me what receipt I'd like, so I select "print and email." The kiosk says, "tell your associate the email you'd like the receipt mailed to," but I never got the opportunity as she clearly bypassed it on her side and just handed me a printed receipt. I took my printed receipt and left.
I wince every time I have to go to this place because virtually every transaction unfolds like this. There are millions of people who would kill to have a government job like this. But....these are the people we hire? Are we okay with this? Why do we tolerate this?
