I can cash my check at Walmart, deposit the cash into Regions, and use the money immediately via my Regions debit card, or just load it onto a Visa card at Walmart and use the funds immediately. BUT, if I deposit my check at MY BANK, the funds aren't available until the next day. So... why do I need Regions? Oh, and their hold times are about 3 days long. Done with them.
