They left it on the step instead of walking an extra 3 feet to the garage and it rained on my Christmas gift… lazy and incompetent

Then months later we were told it had to be moved to the front or we wouldn't be able to get our mail anymore. Now that it has been moved to the front, we're being told that our mail is on hold and won't be delivered until we move it back. What do we do? I tried calling and only got an automated machine. And the mail carriers are rude.
