- AJAmanda JacksonAug 8, 20231.0I am moving soon and I put in a change of address request with a start date in September to coincide with my moving date. USPS started forwarding my mail and packages immediately with no regard to the effective date. I have not moved yet nor do I have access yet to the mailbox at my future address. All the packing supplies that I ordered have been re-routed to the new address. This has created an enormous amount of stress and confusion. Why is there even an option to choose a forwarding effective date if they are not even going to look at it? And of course it's impossible to get a human on the phone. I had to create a ticket and wait for someone to contact me within one to three business days. Unacceptable! USPS service has been going downhill for years. Get it together!

My mail has often been misdelivered & I get oþers' mail delivered because of þe house number. How can one misdeliver mail þat þey have copied þe address on? Þe delivery employees lie about not having access to my mailbox, here is a clue, it is by þe road. I have complained a few times & get þe same result. Þe carriers slam þe mailbox door shut like þey are trying to break it. I can here it slam from my back yard. Someone from þe USPS needs to fix þis place. Because I have a long driveway þe carriers speed on it. It is a driveway not a road. 1/31: left þe mailbox open again on a rainy day. 2/3: left packages in front of þe garage so we could not get in. Þe used leave þem at þe front door. 2/27: left packages in þe driveway so þey can get wet if it rains. 2/28: left packages in þe driveway so þey can get wet if it rains.

He didnt stop at any of the locations on our road because my husband was outside watching him. He didnt even go all the way down our road before turning around and going back to main hwy. we have had many times our mail put in different boxes and others mail in our box. Luckily we are family but we have to wonder if someone else got important information we may have needed. Very poor service. Our address is 708 Pierce Rd Collinsville MS 39325
