Although I'm only 1 hour away by car, my mail consistently takes 1+ weeks from postmark to delivery. These are monthly payments and it's frustrating how long their mail takes despite being so close. Update: I finally received my letter postmarked May 17 on June 3. This was almost 3 weeks for a letter to travel with locations separated only 1 hour by car. I called USPS in Charleston, MS and they said they get several complaints each week. They assured me that they mail out the following day but somewhere in the supply chain is the problem. A letter to me would go Charleston, Grenada, Memphis, and Oxford. Do better USPS. It's hard to rely on the mail to conduct business. Sad that Charleston gets the poor ratings for something out of their control but difficult to rely on a letter originating from Charleston, MS.
