Every time I order a package that’s too large to fit in my mailbox, shipping updates “customer requested package to be held”. NO I DIDN’T. Never. Not once have I ever requested my packages be held at the post office. Pretty sure if the trash people can pick up my trash, FedEx, UPS, Walmart and Amazon can all deliver- then USPS can deliver to my house as well.

Had an issue with a package getting lost and I made an inquiry on the USPS website which I figured with get lost in translation somewhere. About two hours later, Russ from the USPS here called me letting me know he was tracking down my package and gave me updates. Super friendly and nice and helped me out a bunch! And he located my package!

EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. Carriers seem to be all contracted now. They don't have to even shut the mail box. Mine keeps leaving it open and mail has gone missing, found by neighbor down the street, and it rained hard one day and several pieces (one a license plate renewal) floating in the ditch. I went to the post office and they told me they are contracted now and per their "contract" they only have to make one attempt to shut it and even at that they only (the postal employee made a motion of 1 finger flipping the door up) have to "reasonable try" to shut it. No wonder everyone in town is going to a PO box! I'm in process of doing that because they won't deliver downtown either. You must have a mailbox they can drive up to no hand deliveries. No bell ring for packages either. I think they are "helping" you into renting a PO box so they can make a profit and not use postal carriers very much.
