- JJJannekeeMay 24, 20191.0Beware of dropping your mail off here. On Saturday, May 4th I dropped 15 invitations in the inside drop box, only 4 people received them in the mail. Im not sure what happened to the rest but that was the only time i ever visited this location and as long as i been sending/receiving mail i never had a issue w/USPS until i visited this location.

The Post master should be ashamed! I would bet a month's salary he doesn't live in the community and could careless how it looks! Also, shame on the neighborhood, alderman and any other elected official in that area!

This is a community where many blacks live and WORK and who can honestly get to the post office between the hours of 10am-4pm. Not to mention the service is terrible. I guess the ONLY qualification the mail carriers have is to not have a SERIOUS felony record. I live in a 4 family flat and EVERYDAY I have my neighbors mail and she has mine. EVERYDAY we have to swap a piece of mail or two. It makes ZERO sense as the apartments are CLEARLY labeled and the mail addresses are correct. This has been going on since I moved in about a year, and some SERIOUS mail has been swapped, and opened on accident rushing not looking to confirm the mail in my box is actually MINES. I'm sure the customer service will be much like the service if I ever get a hold of a live person. SO if you are a WORKING person with a real job and real hours like most do in corporate America be prepared to never get resolution if you have an issue with this branch office. Post offices in the county open at 7 but I guess blacks don't do business that requires these types of hours or the government isn't to keen on PAYING to staff for a FULL 8 hour day in a black community, ridiculous!!!
