The USPS slogan is 'We Deliver,' and Ray at this location absolutely delivered today. He helped me with my postage needs swiftly and treated me with such kindness. It’s rare to find this level of service these days. If you need help here, ask for Ray—he is a true professional.

I was yelled at by an employee, her name was Tracy. She was really rude! I will be going to the Des Peres location (Grupp road) from now on!

ZERO!! Star – Very Poor Customer Service During Passport Appointment I had an extremely frustrating experience during my passport application appointment at this post office. A gentleman initially reviewed my documents and told me everything looked good and asked me to have a seat. Later, a female staff member came out, rechecked my paperwork, and told me I needed to redo my driver’s license photocopy. She specifically instructed me to go to UPS, make a copy, and come back. I did exactly what she told me to do. When I returned, there was a line and she was assisting another family with their passport application. Both she and the gentleman clearly saw me waiting patiently, but neither acknowledged me or said anything. I waited until she finished with the other family, then politely told her that I had returned with the photocopy and that everything was ready. Her response was shocking. She told me I now had to reschedule my appointment, claiming she only asked me to come back in “five minutes.” Anyone familiar with the area knows that driving to UPS, making copies, and returning does not take five minutes. When I explained this calmly, she did not apologize, avoided eye contact, and repeatedly told me to reschedule because she was going on break. What made this worse was that the gentleman who initially reviewed my paperwork and saw the entire situation never stepped in, acknowledged me, or tried to help. I felt completely dismissed and disrespected after following their instructions exactly as given. There was no accountability, no courtesy, and no basic customer service. Unfortunately, this experience reflects a larger issue I’ve noticed—poor manners and lack of professionalism seem far too common at post offices lately. I would not recommend this location for passport services unless you are prepared to be sent away for reasons beyond your control.

Believe all the 1 star reviews, especially about Tracy. Payed for a PO box 2 weeks ago. They refuse to assign me a box and give me a key. Been in the store 4 times. Talked on a phone multiple times. Tracy now just hangs up on us when we call....

Very disappointed with the Kirkwood Post Office. We went to apply for a passport for our daughter during walk-in hours after checking the website, but were turned away due to “not enough staff,” even though no one was being helped and everyone was using self-service kiosks. We came back another day with a scheduled appointment, only to have an even worse experience. The employee Tracy was rude, unprofessional, and not helpful at all. Despite having all required documentation (which had been previously checked by another employee), we were turned away again and couldn’t get the passport done. After being turned away twice and treated poorly, we had no choice but to go somewhere else. Very frustrating experience
