- KSK SJul 10, 20251.0When you don’t receive mail for multiple days only to find out the mail carrier is on vacation with no one to cover you want to only give 1/2 stars. Only to pacify me they delivered 1 package with no other mail. I have informed delivery and I was supposed to get 21 pieces of mail. I will be at the Potosi post office at 8:30 am tomorrow morning to get the rest of my mail. This is a dereliction of duty and the post master should be fired. Hire somebody who know what they are doing. Shame on the federal government for running such a crappy program!

I let him know that it says here that it’s being held at the post office by customers request. I gave him my name and address. States I need to show ID remind you, for as long as I’ve lived here I have NEVER once had to show ID or asked to show ID. People say it’s always been a thing but NOT for me. Anyways, I show him what I’m seeing on my phone and he DOES NOT even go and check. Simply says all mail are currently out right now we do not have it. BUT it says it’s being held at the post office by my request.. He refused to check when I asked if he can go take a look and then yells at me saying I don’t know what I’m talking about or understand when it comes to mail or packages. He literally DID NOT move to go look in the back or anything. Just yelled at me saying “what do you not understand that I am telling you, your mail or packages are not here. The carrier has it! Wait a few days then come back and try again.” I told him I’m not wanting my mail, I am wanting my package that is being held here. My mail is always sent to my house but as for packages, I request them to be left at the post office for the fact they NEVER deliver them and always put a pink slip in my mailbox, due to always saying “They attempted to deliver or driveway not accessible” when I am ALWAYS home and my driveway is accessible. If a trash truck can access my driveway, with NO PROBLEM!! the mail carrier can too!! This post office has went downhill. It’s ridiculous. They need to do better.

Once I called their hotline they lady told me that the update was computer generated and the attempt was not even made in the first place. The worst mail service I have ever experienced and continue to experience.
