- WWwendy watsonSep 13, 20251.0So I made a mistake by hand delivering some postcards throughout my neighborhood, not realizing that that was against any post office rules. The mail carrier pulled the postcards out of every neighborhood mailbox (about 160 homes) and took them back to the Post office. That was fine, that was my mistake. My problem is with what happened after that.... I bought $200 worth of postage, stamped those postcards myself, and handed them immediately back the person working at the post office in Nixa. I also apologized repeatedly for my mistake and not knowing postal law. Those postcards were not delivered for 6 days. Our neighborhood is one mile from the post office. Ridiculous, and I question if it was retaliatory because of my mistake. Because of the size of the postcards, they required first class stamps.. and then waited 6 days to deliver them. That isn't right.

Now obviously this is in no part the fault of the staff at the nixa branch, their attitude towards my plight is. After having lived at my address for 4 years, and with little explanation other than the occasional blocked tag my mail stopped coming, and we were told that we have to get a P.O. Box to acquire our mail. With no sympathy the staff informed my family that we are basically going to have to “not have as many vehicles” or “move to another location” in order to continue with their services. So now I have to change the address for all of my endeavors to a P.O. Box at the office with the people that feel and believe without a doubt that I am in the wrong. Before buying a house in nixa maybe do more research. Thanks nixa USPS.

- LSLevi SummersNov 18, 20191.0Saturday morning 11-16-19 as I'm walking to my front door I see my mail lady rounding the corner by my garage coming towards my front door with a box. Before I could open the door the greet her she THROWS my box towards my front door! She was a solid 6 to 8 feet from my door when this happened! In this time frame my mother had pulled up in front of my house and watched this happen as well, so as I open my door to confront her about this my mother was already trying to talk to her. She had nothing to say, just blew us off and drove away. No wonder the post office is hated so much.
