- DDDoug DavisNov 26, 20255.0First review I’ve ever done. Postal workers catch a lot of flack just like any other state or federal employees and sometimes for good reason. I just want to say the employees from the gentleman that answered the phone to the route carrier. Excellent. The delivery app informed me of some incoming mail. I had some free time so I was outside waiting for the mail and watched the carrier drive by my house. I called the post office. The guy that answered very informative, assured me that sometimes it shows up on the informed delivery but still may require a day or two to be delivered. I let him know the piece of mail I was expecting was rather important and he said he understood, I asked if there was anyway he could contact the carrier, He took my name address and phone number and said he would call back with an update. 20 minutes later. He actually called back and told me the carrier had no mail for my address. Public sector. Private sector. That’s phenomenal. How often does an employee take your information and say they’ll call you back and you never get that call? I get it. Sometimes it gets busy and things slip your mind. I’ve lived all over this nation , dealt with many post offices and the employees. Kennett post office, keep up the good work.

Called headquarters to see whats going on and told there's nothing they can do. This is the way usps runs their business, its not reliable, secure, and prompt.

Also, it takes them days, sometimes even a full week to pick back up mail that needs to be returned as the person that the nail is intended for doesn't live here. Absolutely ridiculous.
