Mailman threatened to shoot man dog. I walked past him with my dog on a leash and my godson on my hip my dog wasn’t even paying attention to him. I called the customer care and the lady said if the carrier feels threatened they can do so but we were walking past him not even giving him attention he threatened to shoot him. I’ll understand if my dog was acting aggressive, but he wasn’t.

This is the absolute WORST Post Office I've been to in the entire KCMO Metro area! The staff are rude and not helpful at all! My apartment that I live in right now the whole complex is male is supposed to be being held at the post office and they weren't holding everybody's mail they kept trying to send it out and put it in the post office box which is by the postman and by the post office supposed to be unsecured because somebody was stealing or mail and so they deemed the boxes unsecured and you're supposed to get up at the post office but they weren't holding it there they were doing nothing with it at all I'm guessing they were destroying people's mail away because they weren't holding it and they weren't putting it in the mailboxes... I had two months worth of electric bills that did not show up, numerous other pieces of mail and packages that I was waiting for that never showed up, not to mention bank cards that never showed up! If you're able to I would stay away from this freaking so-called post office as best as you can

Went to mail tax return. Stood in line for 10 minutes. Fifth in line. The one clerk finally came to the window to help first person in line. I thought finally help. No he only came to get her information again. This took another 2-3 minutes. Return only to tell customer carrier still had her package on his truck even though the carrier had it as being at the station. After helping this customer the next customer advances to mail his package. Clerk told customer that he was unable to sale stamps until 4:30 Post Office closed at 5. Only excepting mail that was ready to go. Unbelievable!!! I should have listened to my 8 year old great granddaughter when we walked in. She assessed the situation perfectly. She said, "Granny this is going to take a long time."

Requested for key for a mailbox for a apartment back in December 2025- waited 8 weeks, no call, no nothing, went into check and they tell me they don't have keys made. It's March 2026 right now still nothing or no call about keys being made.

this particular location has horrible customer service. I moved and needed to get my mailbox key. i’ve lived here for 4 months & STILL have no received my mailbox key. Mind you, they sent me to another location because my “zip code” wasn’t registered there when my complex manager assured me i was at the right location. the black girl who works there with a hat on is very rude and unprofessional. I still have not received any mail or my key.
