This is by far my favorite USPS location. It's true they have limited hours, as compared to other locations in the area. If you are in a hurry, this is not the post office for you. However, for me it's worth the wait. Even if I find they're unexpectedly closed, I'll simply come back the next scheduled business day. Why? Because, I've always encountered personal, kind, and helpful service-the kind of service you may only experience in a small town setting. It's here -tucked away in an Independence neighborhood. I for one couldn't be happier.

Delivery driver stopped delivering our mail and any packaged 2 weeks ago because he saw our dog outside once. Dog stays inside during the work week with our gates open. So it’s a one and done kind of thing.
No notice given at all. Finally figured it out today and was told that notice to us isn’t required at all. So F us huh. No wonder people want to defund usps.

They suspended my mail because I put locking mailbox on my house.Mail carrier leaves my mail laying in yard on hill or delivers it to my neighbors .
Storm took out my old mailbox,I live in city limits try to tell me I am on rural delivery route and mailbox needs to be on roadway for delivery. The old mailbox was halfway up my stairs to my house so I thought the lazy postman could surely climb the steps the rest of the way.

Nice people, just wish they had more people working so the line goes quicker, and the handicap doors worked better.
