I like one of the female staff that works there she’s super sweet and very helpful and the only reason I put 3 stars if not for her I would put 1, but I don’t like some of the other staff they are rude, I just paid 25$ for a new key and they told me it would take a week call a week later to check in and now there trying to tell me I have to wait 3 weeks it takes a MONTH for a paid service I could go to an auto store and make a key for 5 bucks and get it same day there’s no reason it should take a month to make and get a key it’s a fast process I’ve seen it done

Horrible people here, typical postal employee attitudes. Going here is like going to the DMV, package has to meet all criteria or they turn you away. Its no wonder the usps is in financial shambles. Ill use other companies from now on, they dont care what box I use, they just want business. And to the guy at the front counter still wearing the mask, you're not doing your immune system any favors, if you're that scared of a virus find a non customer facing job.

I called the Independence Lexington post office several weeks ago to report my mother had fallen in a whole in a parking spot in the parking lot of the post office; after dropping off mail there. The incident happened in November and my mom is still in a boot. I spoke to a lady (I was driving and unable to write down name) and she said she was writing down the information to give to her supervisor name Jade. I had even given her the date of the incident, my mom's information, let her know we had photo's and placed a report with the understanding someone of management would be calling back! I have yet to receive ANY call back from the post office whatsoever! No call back no voicemail nothing. I have since called back many many times and of course no one has answered there phones there since. I work full time and my mom is older so I have not yet been able to go into the physical post office since but plan to asap. It unfortunate it seems they do not care my mom/a person has fallen and fractured her ankle in there parking lot. The post office has shown a lack of concern in this matter and negligent not to follow up to insure the whole is fixed and this does not happen to anyone else.
