Saw some stuff had arrived at the hub on my shop app so after I checked my PO Box and saw the packages were not there I decided to politely ask the front desk clerk if it could be possible to pick up them up to which I was given a very rude, long winded answer of no. I understand some people have bad days but when you answer someone’s politeness with unwarranted rudeness that is uncalled for it just leaves both people in a state of bitterness. I hope her day got better afterwards but still, the rude response to a stranger wasn’t the answer.

I've never had so many issues just receiving my mail. The most recent super fun situation...I order a few gifts with over 2 weeks to receive them. They bounced around to different states, stuck for a while a few hours away and finally they were delivered today, just in the nick of time! But wait, instead of dropping them off at my front door, they put them in a lock box and didnt put the key in my mailbox! Yay!! Only the 5th time thats happened in 6 months, not to mention receiving the wrong mail, packages jammed into my mailbox, tossed on my porch, etc. So I get to spend my lunch break on Monday calling to post office so they can contact the carrier and they MIGHT put the key in my mailbox if I'm really lucky. If I have any other possible option besides usps I use it and I used to be a die hard supporter. I get that the job sucks, but not taking 2 seconds to out a key in a mailbox can really mess things up for people.

Where do I even begin? We mailed a package to our family (our daughter and grandkid) three weeks ago, and it never made it to them. The package was addressed to a military base, and while delivery attempts were made three times (to an address that doesn’t exist or an empty house), the post office ultimately gave up and returned it to us here in Arizona. Now, I’ll admit the address was off by just one digit, and that’s on me. But the correct name was clearly printed on the package, and this family is well known on the base. I’m not a mail carrier, but I would imagine that someone familiar with the route and the families there would recognize the error and try to deliver it to the correct house, especially since it was only one number off. We’re grateful the box came back to us, but the lack of effort to simply check next door or across the street is frustrating. Ironically, we’ve been receiving mail here in Arizona for a couple that hasn’t lived at this address for the past 10 months, including important items like checks and court documents. Despite multiple requests to our local post office to stop delivering their mail, nothing has changed. They continue to ignore the fact that the names don’t match and keep putting it in our box. So, in one case, the post office refuses to stop misdelivering mail that isn’t ours, and in another, they won’t make a reasonable effort to correct a minor address issue for a package sent to a well known recipient. Something is clearly broken in this process. Whether it’s a lack of care from individual carriers or a larger issue within the postal system, it's disappointing. From now on, we’ll be using FedEx. At least with FedEx, if the address is slightly off, they’ll call to verify or make a real effort to find the correct recipient. That kind of care and responsibility is what sets them apart.

If you are paying to have your mail/ packages expedited to get it early , that’s a waste of money . I’ve notice that a few times the app says delivered but when I go there for it they give a sorry reason like incoming mail today gets sorted the next day. I only chose this post office because of my work hours and it seemed convenient but I’m taking my business to Wainsville .
