Just not good experience with this post office and their drivers. My mail is constantly getting messed up and then I get a note for re delivery but she didn’t try to deliver it in the first place my front door is 25 feet from the front door and I’m a stay at home mom so I am home all day. She didn’t try to delivery crap. She wrote me a note and expect me to go pick it up. Are you serious right now?!

First off I know if you live in Festus , or the area you have to deal with this Post Office, it's lazy drivers, terrible customer service from the arrogant fast tongued post master, and the not consistent delivery shenanigans that come from those that work at this location. Believe me , if there was a way to use another post office to get my mail I would, but sometimes we are burdened with uncontrollable issues, and the Festus post office is one of those in life. The drivers are lazy, and they make up stuff, they mark whatever they want when there are deliveries, because they want to do the minimum work possible when on routes, especially mine. They do not follow USPS guidelines, and this has been verified, and researched with calling the USPS head offices , a address must not have a entrance and exit point for them to refuse to deliver to that address, however even though I have a road a wide road at that , that Fed-ex, Amazon, DHL, and many other carriers have no issue coming down, and walking the packages to my door , the Festus USPS has decided they are above guidelines and refuse to deliver to my door a clear example of lazy. We agreed to meet them at our mailbox, that was not even in their abilities , so they started just marking false delivery messages on packages. We then asked for packages to be held at the actual office, again they can't follow easy reasonable requests. Then you have the who I think is the post master, if you qualify him as such. He is highly offensive, sarcastic, and very mouthy over a telephone line, thinking he can talk to customers however he wants in whatever tones he wants. Now the ladies inside the actual USPS location are nice, maybe one of them should be made post master, might accomplish more customer service worthy visits. I have gotten open packages from this USPS, Packages opened and missing valuable objects, Broken Objects from careless behavior, They have lost packages , there is a complete laundry list of why this USPS is a total fail. Thought new patrons should be aware of what you are in store for with this small town post office, that can't even handle small town capacities functionally. Don't be hopeful, or surprised at less then pleasing events with them. If I could give a negative scoring I would, but a one is reasonable for the games played with this place.

My husband and I use this post office frequently. On certain days there may be long lines but the only rude behavior observed has come from selfish outspoken customers. The facility seems to be understaffed but the staff, without exception, has always be courteous, friendly and professional.
