I'm sure if I lucked out and got to work with any other person in this facility, things would have been okay. However, that was far from the case. I got the most condescending and infuriating assistant they had. As a warning to anyone trying to ship a package in any capacity, avoid the older man with a sad saggy earring. I spent the first half of our interactions being as patient as possible considering maybe he was having a bad day, until it occurred to me, based on his demeanour, he just doesn't have the capacity to care about you or your package; The only thing he cares about is being right. Halfway through this headache, I had to ask my boyfriend to come inside to get a second opinion on this man's behaviour. Throughout the interaction, he was trying to tell me the address I gave him was incorrect (despite me having shipped to this address multiple times), stating, "It would be a shame if the package did not arrive," in the most patronising and unthoughtful tone. While I was telling him how not all addresses in Ireland are the same, he told me to 'hit agree' instead of informing me to review the screen to confirm the address; being in the middle of explaining, my hands moved on their own. We had to redo the address 3 times because he would not listen to anything I was saying (including the spellings of every single word in the address), as he spent most of his time cutting me off and telling me to hit buttons. He got offended when I made him start the whole process all over again when he not only put in the wrong address but also tried to blindsight me with it. On top of that, I gave him the eir code and he simply would not put it in, stating it wasn't required (postal codes ARE required), leaving my package stranded in Dublin. This package costed almost 250 dollars total to ship (including the taxes when it arrived in Ireland). He has made a relatively simple task the most stressful event of my entire week. Please, if you're waiting in line and he's the next open employee, please politely decline his service if your package is valuable or shipping internationally; it is not worth the risk.

SCAM ALERT 🚨 Average to short height / slim build / medium length brown hair / blue eyes male associate trying to charge customers extra for packaging returns at this location. - Maybe an unaffiliated 3rd party can tell me I’m in the wrong based off of the screenshots provided, but my understanding is that I bring my QR code along with my return item to FedEx in the *original *product box without a *shipping *box or *shipping *label and the FedEx associate is supposed to package my product into a shipping box , tape it up, and then place a label on it ready to ship? - This brown hair blue eyed male associate gaslit the daylight out of me into believing that I’m too illiterate to understand the FedEx instructions from the screenshots provided. He insisted that what the instructions actually mean is that I have to place my sealed and unopened original product packaged return item must first be placed into a shipping box of my own and taped up for him to accept my return. I walked back to my car and found a box and placed my unopened product in the box and he placed tape on the box. When I re read the instructions to him, he claimed that he did package the return per the instructions bc he placed the tape on the box that I had to walk back to my car to find. If I couldn’t supply my own shipping box, he was telling me that he’d have to charge me for a whole shipping box - that’s not what the return instructions say. Please provide video footage of the event before further gaslighting in response. The video will show evidence that I arrived with a sealed unopened product with a QR code and had to walk back to my car and produce a shipping box myself bc the associate was claiming that “according to the instructions” that he held my phone up and read himself, I would have to pay for the shipping box otherwise.
