Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. is a leader in information management focused on enterprise content, technology optimization and cloud services.
Konica Minolta runs a criminal extortion racket for small businesses. An acquisition of my company had been leasing a printer for $495/month. The lease was through Konica Minolta Financial Services (KMFS), but the lease was operated through Konica Minolta Business Solutions (KMBS). I joined my company in May 2024 and was told that our printer was only able to make copies because we weren't able to connect to the printer through our network, so unless you wanted to plug your computer directly into the printer, you couldn't print to it. I immediately began calling our local KM office to get it serviced. Between May and October, we called them probably five times and they came out twice to look at our printer but were never able to fix it. In October, I stopped paying for our lease. If they weren't going to hold up their end of the bargain, then I wasn't paying for it. I began getting calls from Konica Minolta Financial Services to whom I explained the situation and said, come fix this printer and I will pay you what I owe. The KM Financial Services team said I would need to coordinate fixing it through "the vendor" which seemed like an odd thing for a company called Konica Minolta Financial Services to call a company that was called Konica Minolta Business Solutions, but makes sense if you're an immoral business that wants to separate the financial burden you place on small businesses from any obligation of delivering the services you owe. I told them, to me, as the customer, they were all Konica Minolta and they needed to coordinate getting someone to fix it since I had not be able to get it fixed after 8 months.
After three months of telling them (KMFS & KMBS) to come fix it or come pick it up, they finally sent a technician to look at it. He said he didn't recognize the error code he was getting, but would be back the next day with a senior technician. He never came back and I emailed everyone I had been in contact with that their 8 month grace period was over and I was no longer willing to pay any of my back payments but would still be willing to pickup payments if they came and fixed it. Some guy named John Steinbecker called and said he would get on fixing it. He said a technician would be there the next Monday. No one came. Then he said someone would be there on Thursday or Friday, I said not good enough and that I no longer wanted them to fix it and the only thing I wanted for them to do was to remove it from my office. He kept saying, "Yes and I just want to discuss blah blah blah" and I told him the only thing I wanted to discuss was him coordinating someone to come pick up the printer which he continued to try to deflect and then showed up unannounced like I was supposed to drop running my business to listen to his "Yes and-ing." It was clear he was not there to tell me when the printer would be picked up so at that point, I told him I was not interested in further discussions. I have been firmly telling KM to remove their printer from my office space for over a month and it still isn't picked up. They are truly one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I can't fathom how they are able to get away with this.
I'm also filing a complaint with the BBB because Konica Minolta is a predatory organization that burden's small businesses with financial obligations and then does not deliver any of what is promised other than taking up space in their offices with very expensive paperweights. I'm also sending them an invoice for renting the office space their non-functioning printer took up and for the cost of moving the printer to our new facility as our lease at our old location ended.

I own two Bizhubs and cannot get service! I have been calling for two weeks and still no service appointment. Oh, but they were happy to take my credit card! Evidently, you have to be some large corporation with unlimited funds to get service from Konica Minolta. I would NEVER buy their products again!

I was going to shop for a KIP Color Scanner starting @ $5000 to $8000 but you phone number doesn't give an option to talk to a sales rep. I have had sales rep stop by but after 4 months they are no longer with the company.
If you don't have a name or extension to dial or search it is end of line.....good by....so Konica Minolta I will buy a color scanner from someone else......good by....
