- ESErica StraderJul 18, 20251.0Being a graphic designer, I’ve gone to more Kinkos in my life than I can count. This experience felt very shady. I dropped off a brochure at this location early in the morning and clearly stated I was hoping to pick it up the next morning. The employee said “okay,” and gave no mention of any rush fees. Later that same day, I happened to call to check on the status and was told the job was done—but if I picked it up that day, there would be a $17 rush fee. At no point during drop-off was I informed that same-day pickup would incur an additional charge. I didn’t ask for same-day; I was told it would be ready by the next morning, which was fine. The fee was only brought up once the job was already done and I proactively followed up. The lack of communication and transparency is incredibly frustrating. If you’re going to charge a rush fee, be upfront about it. This experience left a bad taste, and I’ll be looking elsewhere next time.
