I have nothing but problems with me carrier. Last week mail was so wet you couldn’t even read it. Today the door is open with a package sticking out of it. This is ridiculous!!!!

A nice post office that was clean and in good shape. Look like they had some nice photo hanging on the wall inside the counter area. Wonder if they are for sale. A post office has been in Anderson since 1886 and the name for the community came from Robert Anderson, a local merchant. I see this office get a lot of complaints about package not being delivery to their homes but people need to realize that the post office has rules about driving off the route to drop package and sometime people just live to far from the line of travel. This is done to help control cost. Be thankful of what we do have it could be like the old days when you had to stop into the post office to get your mail and there was no rural delivery. Rural delivery start in Anderson sometime around 04/01/1903.

The post office is great, but, what I don't like is the fact that they won't bring anything to my house. I'm disabled and don't have a car, and my mailbox is 6 tenths of a mile from my house.
