- MJMary Ann Perpich JapsDec 16, 20251.0For the past 5 years I have shipped holiday client gifts through the Wayzata UPS store. I use beautiful sturdy red boxes, and have never had an issue shipping these at this store. On 12/8, I made 3 trips from my car unloading 8 boxes. I waited in line, and then I was told that they only can ship in brown or white boxes. What? I searched the UPS website afterwards, and nowhere is this restriction noted. I felt like it was just easier for the associate to say "no" even though I have shipped these exact same boxes for the past 5 years. The associate even said the store could be fined? Again...what? I ended up shipping at the UPS Store in Plymouth, where they were happy to ship in my sturdy red boxes, and they actually sell colorful boxes for shipping during the holidays. This was a very frustrating experience, and I won't be using this store in the future.
