- KJKathy JanischOct 27, 20251.0I have a package box in my driveway since the mail persons are afraid of my dogs and are on a electric fence so they can not reach mail carriers and I still get my packages framed in my mailbox when they are to large for the mailbox or I get a pick up in town slip stating could not deliver due to dogs, for crimes sake there is a box for them to put packages in before they reach the dogs, I think they should make less money if they can't do there job.

The package was too big for the mailbox, so the person had to ram it in until the mailbox door could be shut. The package was jammed in behind a metal tab at the top of the mailbox, so I had to damage the package to get it out. We have an alternative box to put our large packages in, which was not used. Unacceptable…

They will go a few days without picking up or delivering mail to our house..... If our mail does come it's always past 6pm... Post office needs help or better management. - JMJacquelin M.Jun 15, 20205.0Extremely Helpful and Friendly Customer Service! I am visiting from out of state and had a package delivered to the family lake cabin. Unbeknownst to me, the home is not set-up to receive USPS deliveries. Instead of sending the package back to the sender, the postal employee took the time to call me and let me know that my package had arrived, and offered to hold it for me at the post office. When I arrived, the box turned out to be too heavy for me to lift, so the postal worker offered to carry it to my car. Just fabulous service and the epitome of "Minnesota Nice." Wish my post office back home was as kind and helpful as the one in South Haven. Thank you!
