Service was great but I just got charged $4.00 to print ONE PAGE - a shipping label, so not much ink and in black and white. I should’ve been given a forewarning before they went ahead and printed it. Absolutely ridiculous!

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered at this UPS Store location.
To start, the parking situation was extremely frustrating. The lot was congested, with cars trying to enter and exit at the same time, and the adjacent lot is reserved for U.S. Bank visitors only, with clear towing warnings. After waiting for a spot, I finally made it inside.
Surprisingly, I was the only customer in the store. I explained to the clerk that I needed to ship a package and that my prepaid label was on my phone, but I didn’t have a way to print it. The clerk responded, “If you really need me to do it, it’s $5.” At first, I thought he was joking. When I clarified, he confirmed the $5 charge.
I was honestly shocked—charging $5 to print a prepaid shipping label felt excessive and wasn’t explained in any helpful or customer-friendly way. There was no effort to provide context, alternatives, or even basic courtesy. As a first-time customer, this left a very poor impression, and it’s not a place I plan to return to. This was especially surprising given the store advertises printing services.
I ultimately went to FedEx instead, where the experience was completely different. The employees were friendly, offered to print my label without hesitation, and the total cost was just $0.23. They even mentioned that they typically wouldn’t charge for printing a shipping label, regardless of the carrier.
Based on this experience, I’ll be choosing FedEx for future shipping needs.

I have yet to not have a person at the Grand and Lexington store not be anything other than so pleasant, warm, friendly, helpful, patient, and professional. I love walking into the store simply they have a nice person or three people greet me so nicely.
