  Receiving a standard package from UPS in Rochester, MN is generally free, as the cost is paid by the sender, but extra charges (surcharges) can apply for large, heavy, or specialty deliveries, or if you require special services like rerouting, holding at a facility, or if it's an extended residential delivery, which are added to the original shipping cost. I was Lied to and shouted at very must a unnecessary message and raised his Voice he was an older Indian Man. He claims there is a $5 per package charge yet the UPS generally free policies shows the opposite. So beware of this rude Man

  I went in to have a painting shipped to California at Christmas time (06 Dec at 230pm). The store was packed and the guys at the counter were swamped, but in a great mood. They were super polite and took care of everybody in turn. When it came my turn, Kamal, took care of the packing in a super professional manner. He explained all of the costs for shipping, insurance, and packing before he started. As he was packing my item, the other dude working (I didn't get his name) was helping customers like he was three people. Their professionalism gives me faith in the transport of my item. Thanks, guys!
