We moved to Owatonna the postman walks by our mailbox on the front of the house if we have mail hanging out to take. And got a call from one of my credit cards, I haven't gotten that bill in 2 months. Dang. I thought Faribault was bad. Our postman did not now the difference between Margaret Ann and Anne Marie.

I am beyond fed up with USPS delivery at the Lazy U community. Packages are dumped on an open shelf like they don’t matter, where literally anyone can walk up and grab them. It’s careless, lazy, and completely unacceptable. As adults we know it’s a federal offense to open other people mail, yet USPS thinks it’s perfectly fine to dump our packages in the open where anyone can tamper with them. How is that anywhere close to responsible delivery? People rely on USPS to actually deliver their mail securely, not toss it on a public shelf and walk away. If USPS can’t do their job correctly, then they need to fix it. We deserve reliable service, not this ridiculous negligence.

Delivery, customer service and IQ. They need a complete overhaul at this post office and to read their own regulations. Only half the block is receiving mail because they are trying to FORCE us to get new mail boxes and clump them together which we have to pay for and do the labor ourselves. They have lost our mail so many times. Give it to the wrong address. They refuse to talk to me at all but can talk to my husband every single time. If you refuse to do your job, you need to get fired!

It's really too bad that it is so hard for carriers to scan packages they pick up. Now one I shipped is lost and all it says is "label created". Pretending they never got the package. How hard is it to scan packages? That's part of the job. I have the guy picking up the packages on security camera footage, all 3 the day of the incident, but only 2 packages made it to the customers. USPS is the only shipping service that refuse to scan all packages.

Poor communication, and poor customer service. They care more about keeping money in their pockets, rather than their consumer's experience. I mailed a package internationally (for a pretty price tag) 10 months later it returned back onto my doorstep with no explanation of why it was returned. I went into the post office to find out more information and they said they didn't know why it was returned. I asked for a refund since the service was not completed and I was told they could not provide a refund and would have the post master look into this further and contact me. Two weeks later and I still didn't have a phone call. I went back in to the post office to follow up and was told she (the clerk, not the post master) was going to call me but it was 7am and she didn't know if that was too early. I was then given a phone number to call since I had sent it priority mail. I spent 30 min on the phone going around in circles with a phone tree and never connecting with someone that could help me. I called the post office again and requested their assistance in finding out why the package was not delivered, and if I could just have my money back I would be a happy customer. Once again, I was told that it would be looked into further and I would be called back on Wednesday at 1:30pm. The call never came. Friday at 10:00am I called in again. Suddenly, they had a full story of the package and that it has arrived in the country I sent it to and sat in their customs on a specific date, etc. Therefore, they will not refund me. I asked why this information wasn't available a month ago when I first came in. All I was told was, "I don't have an answer for you on that" I worked with the same clerk throughout this entire process (even though I requested to speak with the Post Master. Each time I requested this the post master just happen to always be out of the office). Extremely frustrating and disappointing. At this point, I will exhaust every option before I patron the USPS. Had they just refunded the cost of this package I would have been disappointed that my package was not delivered, but I would have still used this service knowing they care about their consumer's and their experience.
