- MFMichael FlahertyJan 16, 20261.0My mail constantly gets postmarked late - usually about 2 or 3 days. When I take it to the post office by my work it gets postmarked the same day. I also have a lot of problems receiving mail. Our mailbox has our name and number on it, but our mailmen are constantly putting ours in other people's boxes, or others' in our boxes. I don't think they even lok.

When you send a parcel at the counter, the post office must accept your parcel to fulfill its service commitments, such as delivery date and insurance. However, if you use a kiosk or online service, you are only purchasing prepaid postage; the post office only commits to the service from the moment you hand the parcel over to them.

There's no way to track our mail. Did the mail person stop delivering at a certain time because it was late? We haven't been getting our mail or if we finally get mail it's late at night.
