Horrible experience! There’s a huge parking lot in the back which is for employees only so customers have to pay to park in a parking ramp down the block. Also, the guy at the counter made me pay for tape, even though there was a full roll, sitting right in front of him. I need like 20 inches of it. Never coming back.

Maybe it's because Edina is perceived as a sleepy little town, but the level of customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

USPS market street Edina, Mn They get one star because I can’t give less. They are typically rude. The parking is very adequate ( in the past) yet (now) prohibited! They respond by saying they built the ramp for us next door which is a municipal ramp. I was in the lot for a few moments and they basically yelled one woman out of the lot and were extremely rude to me for just sitting there waiting in an empty parking lot. The person that verbally harassed me for parking there look like he just walked out from behind some dumpster nap and now I question whether he even worked there. Regardless, as a taxpayer and having many elderly friends that used to use this PO for packages and letters, now they’ve made it extremely inhospitable and inconvenient. I think it is time for it to simply be closed down and let new development take its place.

There’s a FREE covered parking ramp directly East of the Post Office with plenty (540+) of parking and plenty of handicap parking spots on the lowest level.

Awful. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Today I parked in the lot next to the post office which I have parked in over the past years. I noticed some signs in front of spaces saying postal workers only. However not all of the spaces had signs. My space did not have a sign. As I was approaching the door, a man flew out the door behind an older woman carrying huge boxes. He was speaking extremely rude to her. As he passed me, he asked me if I parked in that lot. I replied yes and he told me that I needed to move my car to the parking ramp. He continued to rant about how he was putting an end to it. The poor woman pointed out that there wasn’t a sign where she parked. There is a small sign at entry, but I have never noticed it before. Someone had placed an orange mail cart in front of the entrance but someone previously had moved it. There should be customer parking in the lot as it’s next to the post office and people have big packages to carry. Also senior citizens and people who are less mobile need space closer to the post office. I made an innocent mistake and so did that woman. He did not need to be so rude and disrespectful to us. That parking lot has plenty of space for customers to park. I didn’t see anything close for handicap customers. Shame on him for being so rude. He could have just told me and I wouldn’t have parked there again. It was an innocent mistake. I feel sorry for the woman he was chasing out. Her hands were full and her boxes were heavy. She was older and did not deserve to be treated so poorly. I will NEVER return to this post office again. The man was short with longer brown hair and wearing a blue Hatch Show Print t shirt. He wasn’t in a USPS uniform.
