We have a CBU installed in an office building with 8 mailboxes and 2 parcels. The CBU was installed in August of 2025, and ever since I've been trying to get Nokomis USPS come and install their locks. That's 8 months later and no locks have been installed. We're unable to receive or send mail.

Rude staff member chastised me because I was not standing in the proper place for a line although I was the only one in the lobby. I stood on the rug.

Yeah the reviews are true: Gene is unbelievably unprofessional. I can’t understand how he remains at this position. He verbally castigated his lovely coworker right in front of me for absolutely no reason. I can’t imagine what it would be like to work with someone so ill-tempered. I hope they make a change; I’ve stopped going to this post office as often because of his surliness. I recognize it’s a tough time to work for USPS, but somehow so many other employees in the Twin Cities (including his usual coworker!) seem to make it work.

This post office has the worst service for forwarding mail. If you are gone for awhile DO NOT forward your mail, have a neighbor pick it up and send it to you in a package weekly.
