- AFAdrian FleurJun 25, 20251.0We had an unpleasant experience using Burnet Title for our house closing, from dealing with multiple ignored emails to ridiculously over-convoluted and conflicting instructions in their paperwork. When I expressed frustration at their poor communication I was met with a total lack of accountability or consideration. They added unnecessary stress and to an already stressful experience, and made us feel like we were at the bottom of their list of priorities. - Edited to add that they will always reply with the same generic response to negative reviews, denying they have any record of the transaction. We closed on our house with them in June 2025.

As part of standard closing, we prepaid our water bill at close and Burnet sent the check to the city. However, when the check was returned in its entirety to Burnet, they 1) failed to notify us of its return and 2) failed to return the money. After 5+ months, I have not yet received the entirety of the returned check. While the amount is de minimis, the lack of integrity of Blake Howe and others at Burnet Title is disappointing to say the least.
