  Unfortunately the reviews are true. They are referring to the store manager, Franklin. He lacks customer service skills, and is not friendly at all. When I arrived, there was no greeting. Instead, he turned his head, stared at me, and went back to his computer. After two minutes of standing there, he finally asks me what I need. I told him I was there for returns, which he then directed me to use the kiosk (which I didn’t want to, hence why I was in line). I go over to the kiosk, and he watches over my shoulder as I’m using it, then got frustrated when it asked me to “See a store employee for assistance”. We go up to the counter and he’s asking me to help him tape down my packages. Forgive me for not doing it beforehand, but I’m use to UPS packaging my items for me. Plus, UPS has a better kiosk system and counter system. I just don’t understand the lack of wanting to help customers when that is your job. There was only one other customer there doing her own thing. The crazy part is, he still has his job when there have been multiple complaints about him. Do better FedEx.

  Today, (11-20-25)I needed to print some drawings out of my phone. I went to the FedEx office in Maplewood. This is the office next to McDonald’s and Chipotle on white Bear ave. In Maplewood. The manager of the Store happened to be at the counter. He is an African male with a heavy accent difficult to understand at times. Still, this shouldn’t be a problem but he was very unfriendly to me. He didn’t have a willingness to help me. He kept using the computer acting like he was doing other work while trying to help me. When I asked him, if my drawings had printed, he told me in an angrily tone “to be patient”. This upset me and I replied to him in high tone of voice that I was being patient waiting for him to help me. This guy needs to improve his customer service skills. He’s the manager of the store and needs to behave like a manager willing to help his customers.

  The worst customer service ever by the store manager!!! The manager is very rude and not helpful. His reasoning and response is unproductive and unprofessional. Stay away. Did not help me with me with my package but demanded that he cant take my box because of an "old" hazard sticker. I took it off and still refuse to accept my box for shipment. The box contained my shampoo. The dumbest thing I ever heard.

  I was in the store today and it was basically empty. Only two people were being waited on. I don't use self service machines because I prefer a person. One of the Team members told me to use the kiosk and I said I would prefer to wait. Instead of him completing the customer he was assisting he came over and scanned my package with the kiosk scanner to which 1) was against my wishes 2) incredibly rude. Then the scan came back need employee assistance. When it became my turn the proceeds to go use the self service scanner again. And I check my return status and it does not show a scan at all. I don't know what they are trying to pull, so I called the 800 number and the telephone agent said that sometimes they will scan at the end of the day. My issue is that it was scanned and I feel like something shady is going on.
