  If you’re against over-surveillance, value your digital privacy, or simply don’t wish to give away your PII for no reason, don’t bother with FedEx. I came in to ship a basic package containing an accessory - nothing controlled, nothing 21+. The gentleman asked if I had shipped with FedEx before, I told him “no,” and was about to give him my name/return address as is standard. He asked to see my ID. I didn’t have it on my person so I showed him a photocopy I had on my phone just in case, as I figured he probably just needed to see it visually. He told me that he was unable to service me as “digital ID has not rolled out yet” and he “needs to see the physical ID in order to SCAN it” into the system. I left right away. I went to the USPS, a government agency mind you, and asked them if they require this. They don’t even require IDs for such packages! So this clearly has nothing to do with ‘safety,’ or liability, or crime prevention. It’s actually less safe as your scanned ID will be in FedEx’s system (opening yourself up to identity theft). The goal here is surveillance. So FedEx shows itself to be a company that is going above and beyond what even the government is doing surveillance-wise — asking to scan IDs for the most basic service. Such companies do not deserve your business. For regular packages, UPS only checks IDs visually, USPS doesn’t at all. Take your business there.

  Have been here for several "self service" print jobs and the staff (it has been the same kind woman each time, I'm sorry I don't know her name), has been extremely helpful. If you need help with a print or copying job, don't hesitate to go here.

  Worst service ever! They closes at 7 and they refuses to print one single document because it was 6:15 and they said it was not possible to print my document (12 - 36x48 sheets) in less than 45 minutes. I asked them to print just one sheet and it took less than 2 minutes... when I asked them to print the other 11, they wanted to charge me a rush fee just because it was almost closing time.

  Maple Grove FedEx Office Print & Ship staff member, Clay, was extremely knowledgeable and patient with assisting me print and scan documents. He really went the extra mile. Awesome customer service!

  Dropping off is easy. The waiting in line can be a bit. Hit or miss when you come in. They also didn’t have the correct printing paper for me when I came in a type C USB. Finally one of the guy figured out that they had it the entire time. Not a big deal, but never looking forward coming here.
