- EEEmSep 16, 20251.0I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the Lakeville Post Office. This isn't the first time they've been belligerent and treated my mail with complete disregard. My latest issue involves a package that was marked as 'delivered' but was nowhere to be found. After I contacted USPS customer service, an investigation was opened. I received an email from USPS Supervisor confirming that the package was indeed misdelivered and is now considered irretrievable. The carrier went back but could not find it, and there is seemingly no accountability for the man who received my package by mistake on Howland Ave W. with a doorbell with a camera on it. His street name isn’t even close to my street name. To add insult to injury, I was told that because the package was not insured, I cannot be reimbursed, and the burden falls on me to contact the merchant for a reshipment or refund. This is absolutely unacceptable. The post office made the error, yet they take zero responsibility for it. This isn't just about a missing package; it's about a complete failure of service and a lack of accountability. Lakeville Post Office needs to do better. Please help our community.
